Keelan Westall announces flurry of underwriting team moves

Keelan Westall has made a flurry of appointments within its in-house underwriting agency.

The Hampshire-based wholesale broker said the moves were intended to boost broker relationships as well as its technical and risk management capabilities.

Keelan Westall's MD, Wayne Tonge, confirmed the appointment of a new team manager, a senior account executive and four new account executives.

Tigi Singhateh has joined as team manager from Towergate Riskline following a 13-year stint as new business manager.

He has been charged with managing a team of nine account executives and supporting

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
