Third departure from Cobra Network as Heap bows out

Cobra Network has confirmed the departure of Ray Heap, previously strategic account manager.

Steve Burrows, CEO of Alto Intermediary Group, which recently reached agreement with Cobra over a purchase deal, confirmed to Insurance Age that Mr Heap resigned one week ago and has been placed on gardening leave.

Mr Burrows commented: “We very much wish Ray well, he is a very nice guy.”

He added that the network was in the process of replacing Mr Heap, and said: “There will be no downside for our members.”

He went on to say that Cobra hoped to increase the number of people allocated to look
