LAS in employment drive following Merlin administration

LAS Claims has announced it will boost staff numbers by 25% in the wake of Merlin Claims' administration.

The Midlands-based claims management business - which also works with Towergate - is set to appoint 30 and 40 new members of staff for its Birmingham and Bristol centres.

The announcement is a shot in the arm for the industry following the collapse into administration of Merlin Claims last week.
