Administrators confirm 200 job losses at Merlin
Administrators BDO have confirmed that 200 members of staff at Merlin Claims have been made redundant with immediate effect.
BDO were appointed as administrators for the Merlin group of companies, headquartered in Bromborough, Wirral and with offices across the UK, on 8 August.
The administrators stated that they have since engaged with the employees and clients, and assessed the position of the business and the options available to them.
Mark Shaw, BDO business restructuring partner, said: "Regrettably, having assessed the position, it is clear that the only practicable option is an orderly handover of client work
