Allianz UK highlights broker strategy behind growth

Allianz UK boss Andrew Torrance has attributed the insurer's on-going growth to its "continuity of strategy and approach" with brokers in the market place.

The comments came as the insurer confirmed that written premiums had edged up by 5.6% for the first half of 2012, with both its commercial and retail arms recording growth during the period.

It also reported operating profits of £73.3m for the first six months this year.

Applied updates on commercial push

Applied Systems has confirmed Arch Insurance is about to enter the pilot phase of onboarding and will be live on the Applied Epic broker management system in April, with Iprism and Ark to follow and more promised in 2024.
