Stobart Group eyes up broking venture
Logistics business the Stobart Group is reportedly planning to venture into the insurance broking market.
It follows the early success of its legal services offering, Stobart Barristers, which opened in May, according to the Manchester Evening News (MEN).
Managing director of Stobart Barristers, Tony Howarth, has revealed the business' intentions to launch an insurance broking arm, citing the potential to apply its principles to the insurance sector.
Stobart Barristers operates as a broker, linking corporate, public sector and private clients with barristers across the UK.
Mr Howarth told the MEN
