Capita's head of GI leaves after less than year in role

Capita's head of general insurance (GI) Brent Escott is leaving his post by mutual agreement after little more than six months in the role.

The company said, during his tenure, Mr Escott had launched a number of strategic changes while also building an experienced and dynamic senior team to lead the insurance operations.

Capita insisted the team will continue to develop its general insurance strategy.

Mr Escott assumed his role last November after having joined the company earlier in the year to head up its London market and commercial insurance operations.
