CMC launches new insurance business
iSmart, the Northampton-based claims management company, has launched a new insurance business.
The company's new subsidiary, iSmart Finance, will sell a range of new gadget and download insurance products, as well as home, life, travel and income protection policies.
Paul Fakley has been appointed as managing director to oversee business development and operations for the venture.
Mr Fakley has previously worked at Churchill, Direct Line and Saga.
He commented: “Our research has shown that there is a real need for new and innovative insurance cover at competitive prices.
