exit open door

MMA executive director Derek Plummer has retired from the company.

Mr Plummer - who joined MMA insurance in 2003 - left his post on 6 July, according to the FSA register.

A spokesperson for MMA confirmed Mr Plummer's departure but said no further comment was available at this time.

Mr Plummer assumed his role as executive director in August 2010 following a management shake-up at the French-owned insurer.

He had previously been MMA's commercial director and, prior to joining the insurer, had worked at Norwich Union, now known as Aviva.
