Open GI clinics worth five hours under new CII system

Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) members attending Open GI’s product clinics will be able to claim up to five hours’ worth of continual professional development (CPD) from September 2012 onwards.

The move follows a review conducted by the CII which saw it replace the credit-based CPD scheme with an hours-based scheme.

Members will be given the choice of remaining on the credit-based system until the end of the year, but must transfer to the new system by 1 January 2013.
