RFIB snaps up divisional director for energy team

RFIB Group, the Lloyd's insurance and reinsurance broker, has swooped to appoint Richard Scott as divisional director in its energy team.

Mr Scott, who has been in the industry for 27 years, joins from JLT Group where he also worked in the energy sector.

Speaking about his appointment, Mr Scott - who also worked for Aon - said: "Working at RFIB is a great opportunity for me as it provides a strong platform to develop RFIB's energy book.

"I will be working with a great team and together we look forward to building and expanding RFIB's energy business."

And Simon Barnes, managing director non marine international at RFIB, explained
