Broker demand fuels Rural Insurance product growth
Rural Insurance is boosting its range of covers in the UK equine market to satisfy broker demand.
The Harrogate-based firm said the product extension comes against a backdrop of growth as it aims to become a "top three player" in the UK agricultural market.
Describing the new additions, Rural managing director Simon Stevens, said: "We have increased the maximum sum insured per horse from £15,000 to £100,000, and have additional cover for ‘class 3' use, which includes point to point racing, advanced eventing, hunter chasing, trotting and pacing races and arab racing.
