Higos continues South West expansion drive

Higos Insurance Services has opened a new Exeter office as it continues its expansion in the South West.

The branch, which is the firm's 19th office in the region, will support the existing offices in Plymouth and Braunton.

Higos said its regional drive was part of the company's policy to bring an ethical, independent and customer-advised focus to the high street.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
