Marsh expands in Liverpool

Marsh has launched an insurance broking operation in Liverpool as it bids to strengthen its ties in the north west of England.

The division will be headed up by senior Marsh executive Phil Angus who joins from the firm's Manchester office.

Mr Angus, who previously led Marsh's operations on the Isle of Man, said the move was part of the company's regional expansion strategy.

He explained: "Marsh & McLennan Companies has a long-standing presence in Liverpool and Marsh has ambitious growth plans for the north west of England.
