Former Zurich financial officer joins Deloitte
Deloitte has appointed a new partner in its general insurance actuarial team.
Alex Poracchia, who has joined from Zurich where he was chief financial officer, will provide underwriting, pricing and broader actuarial services to clients, with a focus on the commercial lines insurers and reinsurers.
Before the role as CFO he held several general insurance actuarial positions and pioneered Zurich's risk-based capital framework for general insurance.
Mr Poracchia also spent five years in the London Market where he was the chief pricing actuary at Swiss Re UK.
