Giles sales director leaves for Tyser
Tysers has appointed John McLaren-Stewart as UK sales and marketing director from broking giant Giles where he was the UK sales director.
The Lloyd's broker said the appointment was a signal of its intention to generate serious growth in its chosen markets.
His broking experience includes working at Sedgwick and Layton Blackham, before starting Alliance Insurance Management which was sold to Towergate in 2008.
In May 2009 he launched BrightStar Risk Solutions and in turn the whole team joined Giles in February the following year.
Mr McLaren-Stewart has previously been a main board member of the British Insurance Brokers'
