Simply Business and Willis aim to change broker market for SME

Willis Networks has revealed its exclusive partnership arrangement with Simply Business to provide members with a new comparative electronic portal for SME business.

The new platform, produced after a pilot programme, allows members to access small business insurance products for over 800 trades from 12 different insurers.

In the short term the service will not eradicate the need for brokers to rekey information however Chris Slater, chief operating officer at Simply Business, told Insurance Age it was an area they would look to address.
