Iprism returns to profit with doubled turnover

Iprism Underwriting Agency has reported a jump back to profit, with earnings of £2.1m for the year ended December 2011, compared with a loss of £0.8m in 2010.

The specialist SME product provider also reported a doubled turnover, at £7.8m for last year, up from £3.8m the year before.

In a statement, the directors said the return to profit was generated by a re-focusing of the company's activities last year, and added that Iprism was now trading profitably "on a sustainable basis".
