Abbey Protection posts positive results
Abbey Protection has reported a 5% growth in profit, from £9.6m in 2010 to £10.1m in 2011.
EBITDA increased by 4% to £10.7m (2010: £10.2m), and revenue also went up by 4% from £34.9m in 2010 to £36.2m last year.
Tax and legal intermediary revenues increased by 8% to £17.9m for 2011.
The group, which specialises in legal and professional fees products for UK SMEs, said the results were slightly better than forecast.
Chris Ward, MD of Abbey, said: “My take is that it’s been a steady year, my outlook is steady, and the insurance side of the business will remain steady.
