Three promotions at CCV

CCV has promoted David Perry to sales and marketing director.

He joined CCV from Towergate in 2008 and was most recently regional managing director for the southern region.

Stepping into Mr Perry’s previous role is Joe Simmons, who has over 25 years’ experience in the insurance market, and has worked at Axa, Groupama and Towergate.

He was made managing director of Crawford Davis after its acquisition by CCV in 2008.

Dominic Taylor will now take on this role at the head of Crawford Davis. Mr Taylor joined the CCV group in 2010, and has 30 years’ broking

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
