County Insurance moving fast on acquisition plans

County Insurance could meet its five-year target of ten acquisitions ahead of schedule, with two early purchases near to completion, sister title Post has reported.

Alastair Christopherson, acquisition division manager at the North West broker, told Post: "We're hoping to complete on our first two acquisitions within the next couple of months. We are now in advanced legal and FSA approval stages.

"Beyond that we've developed quite an extensive pipeline. To be perfectly frank when we launched this we felt there was a demand for our particular model."
