The accident management company also saw total revenue fall 21% from £60.1m in the comparable six months period a year ago to £47.5m in 2011.
The company also highlighted that net debt had been reduced by £3.2m to £19.1m in the six month period of last year.
Steve Broughton, chairman at Ai Claims commented: "Ai Claims has delivered a creditable first half performance in challenging market conditions.
"We had already flagged the likely impact on our revenues of warmer than average winter weather
