Axa makes further addition to regional network

Axa Commercial is set to open its 11th regional trading office with the establishment of a new branch in Maidstone.

Speaking exclusively to Insurance Age, Matthew Reed, MD of intermediary business at Axa Commercial, said that the office, which will be open and trading by Easter, filled a gap in the insurer’s regional representation.

“When we looked at the map, we were under-represented in the South East,” he said.

“One thing you learn when running a regional operation is that every market is different. The thought of trying to service brokers in that South East area from Reading just didn’t make sense.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
