Invicta expands with portfolio purchase

Invicta Insurance Services has agreed to acquire the general insurance portfolio of surrey-based IFA Financial Profiles.

The broker, located in Kent, confirmed that the acquisition consisted entirely of buildings and contents policies and that it was keen to acquire further portfolios.

Steve Gamage, managing director of Invicta Insurance Services, said of the purchase: "It reflects our desire to work more closely with IFAs.

"By allowing us to provide market leading general insurance advice to their customers, they can derive a significant revenue stream whilst focusing their efforts on developing their core
