Riverbourne enters administration
The Riverbourne Group, a Cobra Network member, has gone into administration.
Insurance Age understands that accountancy firm Wilkins Kennedy has been appointed as administrators and that up to nine brokers are interested in acquiring the business.
Founded in 2002 by Nick Plowman, MD of the company, and Jamie Coyne, who is now at Square Mile Broking, Riverbourne joined Cobra Network in January 2010.
At the time of joining the company was quoted as controlling £12m GWP. It has two offices, one in Catterham in Surrey and another smaller operation in Leeds.
