
CNA creates chief underwriting role

Mr Taylor will oversee the provider's underwriting across marine, casualty, property and financial lines, as well as the company's specialist offerings in technology and renewable energy. He will report directly to CNA Europe chief executive officer, John Hennessy.
He joined the insurer in 2006, leading its financial lines business before his remit was widened to include overall underwriting responsibilities for its specialty lines operations.
He has spent over 25 years in the insurance market
