Fitch rates FM Global AA for sixth year in a row
FM Global has retained its ‘AA’ rating in financial strength, and been given a ‘Stable’ outlook, for the sixth year running by Fitch Ratings.
Fitch said the ratings reflected the global commercial property insurer’s strong capital and long-term underwriting profitability.
The ratings company said these competitive advantages were “derived from the company’s engineering expertise and global presence in specialty commercial property insurance markets, as well as benefits drawn from the company’s mutual company status.”
It added that FM Global’s engineering capabilities and loss prevention services as key advantages and said it believed
