Aspen on the hunt for new CFO following poor 2011 results

Aspen Insurance Holdings is searching for a new chief financial officer following the departure of incumbent, Richard Houghton.

Mr Houghton will be leaving on 29 February to “pursue other opportunities”.

His departure comes one week after Aspen reported a net loss of $105.8m and an combined operating ratio 115.6% for 2011.

Julian Cusack, currently chief risk officer of Aspen, will assume the role of acting chief financial officer pending the appointment of a successor to Mr Houghton.
