Allianz Legal appoints new sales chief
Allianz Legal Protection (ALP) has appointed Phil Ruse to the newly-created role of head of sales and distribution.
Mr Ruse was previously head of operations within the insurer's retail division and has worked across underwriting, sales and marketing roles in insurance.
He will report to Simon Brimicombe, director for broker and corporate partner at Allianz Retail.
Mr Brimicombe said: "Investing in our legal protection business at a time when many competitors have taken a more negative outlook on this market, represents a real statement of our intent.
