CCV starts 2012 with two acquisitions
CCV has bought Crown Insurance Brokers in Birmingham and Lyon Insurance Services in Anglesey.
Crown Insurance, whose book has a 60% personal lines 40% commercial lines split, will be incorporated into Birmingham-based RV Wallis.
CCV confirmed that owner Ray Whitehouse will remain with the business as a consultant until his retirement.
Lyon Insurance, which has focused on guest houses, holiday homes and bed and breakfast establishments, will be rolled into CCV broker Alker Brothers over 100 miles away in Wigan.
