K Drewe chief takes on dual role within Canopius
Canopius Group has appointed Douglas Young as head of distribution for the group’s UK retail insurance division.
Mr Young will continue to carry out his duties as managing director of K Drewe Insurance Brokers, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canopius which specialises in leisure products.
In his new role he will have responsibility for co-ordinating the distribution capabilities of Canopius and K Drewe at a group level.
He will be reporting to Tim Rolfe, chief executive, UK retail, at Canopius.
Mr Rolfe commented: “Douglas has considerable experience in the regional UK insurance broking industry.
