Allianz stakes claim for industry first with broker scholarship scheme

Allianz Commercial has launched a new scholarship programme to support staff at chartered brokers in achieving their Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Diploma in Insurance.

The insurer, which claimed the move was an industry first, said the scheme had been designed to provide successful applicants with access to tuition and networking opportunities.

It added that the initiative also offered participants the chance to develop their technical and industry knowledge while attaining their CII Diploma.

The application process for the 2012 programme is due to open in February.
