Ellis Clowes motors into 2012

Ellis Clowes has announced the appointment of ex-F1 driver and current pundit Mark Blundell as non-executive director.

Mr Blundell has joined the Lloyd's broker as Karen Ellis, the previous managing director, becomes chief executive officer of the group.

Her position as MD has been assumed by Tim Nagle.

Ms Ellis commented: "We set up the Lloyd's broker in November 2010 and followed this in September 2011 with the opening of a second office in Banbury to service our commercial business.
