Zurich launches new product through aggregator

Zurich has launched a new online motor insurance product, which will be available direct via the insurer’s website and through Confused.com.

The product will be rolled out to other price comparison websites – Compare the Market, Go Compare and Moneysupermarket – over the next few weeks.

Zurich announced earlier this year that it planned to return to the personal lines direct market in partnership with its subsidiary Endsleigh.

Karl Bedlow, personal lines managing director at Zurich, said the move reflected the “reality” that the UK personal lines market was dominated by aggregators.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
