Powerplace director put on gardening leave
Powerplace and its sales and marketing director have parted company, Insurance Age can reveal.
It is understood that Darren Rowe, who joined the company from parent company Towergate in August 2010 as sales director, has been placed on gardening leave. He was promoted to sales and marketing director in February 2011.
It is unclear what has caused the split and Powerplace has refused to comment on the matter.
However, market sources indicate that this has been a protracted situation that has been in motion for at least two months.
Mr Rowe's primary role was managing the near-40 strong
