Markerstudy claims “sanity” returning to taxi market

Markerstudy Group has confirmed the appointment of Darren Doughty as head of taxi.

The provider claimed it had made the move to access opportunities in a market sector where it believed market hardening had arrived after a period of uncertainty.

Mr Doughty has nearly three decades of underwriting experience built up working at the likes of Lloyds and HSBC. He will be based in Chelmsford and report to group underwriting director Gary Humphreys.
