Autonet moves to fight fraud
Autonet has declared it will be fighting fraud by introducing identity checks at point of application for insurance.
The van insurance broker has teamed up with Callcredit Information Group to access a range of data sources to instantly verify a customer's identity. The software also helps meet businesses' anti-money laundering requirements.
The broker cited the wider use of comparison sites as having contributed to increased incidents of insurance fraud across the industry.
