UK Broker Conference 2011: leaders need a long-term perspective

Brokers need to focus on their value proposition, have a long-term perspective and refuse to accept the status quo, if they are to be industry leaders, according to Aon's Lambros Lambrou.

Speaking at the first UK Broker Conference, Mr Lambrou, CEO of global broking centre and COO Aon Broking at Aon Risk Solutions, focused on leadership and how to develop leaders in the insurance industry.

In his keynote speech at the event, hosted by Insurance Age, he told the audience that different qualities were expected in leaders in today’s competitive environment and that brokers must ensure leadership remains a priority.
