APC looks to expand in the North
APC has hired Nicholas Wesson as a business development manager to operate in the North of England and Scotland.
Mr Wesson joins APC from Towergate Partnership, where he was a corporate broker. He previously worked at Powerplace, BIB and Smart & Cook.
The expansion in the North follows APC’s move to area rating, which was launched earlier this year to increase competitiveness in the low-risk areas of the region.
The underwriting agency also introduced a higher no claims bonus while changes to crime, flood and subsidence areas have been taken into account to help brokers win more business.
