Brett and Randall sets out £100m turnover target

Leicester-based insurance broker Brett and Randall has laid out ambitious plans to double turnover to £100m within three years.

As part of the plan, the company aims to create 50 new jobs, grow turnover to £50m this year from £35m last year and complete at least two acquisitions within the next 12 months, according to reports.

Speaking at the opening of a purpose built office in Leicester, chairman Ashwin Mistry said: "We now have the room to grow. The £50m turnover figure will be a platform to get to £100m within three years.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
