Equity targets large accounts with dedicated team
Equity Red Star has established a national broker relationship management team dedicated to its largest broker accounts.
The team comprises Ian Smedley, promoted following five years as Equity’s agency manager; Steve Smith, who joins from Marsh and Robin Farquhar, who held senior positions with Aviva.
Reporting to David Grant, Equity Red Star’s head of distribution and broker management, the team will implement business development programmes alongside Equity’s underwriting, operations and claims divisions, as well as supporting the insurer’s new loyalty programme model.
