HSB Engineering lifts Mitsui chief for underwriting role

HSB Engineering Insurance has appointed Andy Kane as chief underwriting officer (CUO).

Mr Kane brings over 20 years’ experience to the role and replaces Tom Howe who recently retired as CUO after more than 30 years service.

Based in London and reporting to CEO Stephanie Watkins, Mr Kane will manage the underwriting functions of HSB Engineering Insurance focusing on the strategic leadership of HSB's international development and enhancing its relationships with the London market and global brokers.
