MMA deal leads to scheme option for UK General brokers

UK General has signed an extension to its capacity deal with MMA to broaden the terms of its tradesman’s liability offering.

UK General confirmed it currently marketed an online ‘per capita' style product for tradesmen which covered public and employer liability and tools, but that the new deal allowed it to sub-delegate capacity on a scheme basis for its brokers.

Karen Beales, UK General technical director, said: "This [deal] allows brokers to transact the product on their own systems, bespoke the product or even white label it for their own business or an affinity.

"We believe it will prove popular with our brokers

SRG broker to wholesale pothole damage cover
