Chubb loses HNW duo to Zurich

Zurich has appointed Lennox Bunting and Alan Gorman to its Private Clients’ new London team.

Mr Bunting has joined as London market manager and Mr Gorman as senior development underwriter to the team commencing at the end of August 2011.

Both men join from Chubb's High Net Worth (HNW) team and will report to Matthew Schofield, head of Zurich Private Clients. These are the first appointments to the newly created team focusing specifically on the London market.

In his role, Mr Bunting will be responsible for managing the new HNW London market office. Initially, he will concentrate on

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
