Rural makes further appointments to push for growth across UK
As part of its ambitions to be a top five player in the agricultural market, Rural Insurance has hired two new senior managers to cover Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Previously head of insurance products at Paymentshield, Elaine Smith will oversee the extension into the UK market of the company's delegated authority strategy, successfully launched in Northern Ireland last month.
Alexander Connon joins Rural from KGM Motor Insurance. Prior to this he was also a regional account manager for Highway Insurance in Scotland. Mr Connon will have responsibility for sales development in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
