Ageas moves to strengthen broker relationships

Ageas has appointed Roy Watkinson to the new position of head of commercial pricing and underwriting to support the growth of its commercial lines business.

Starting in his new role on 1 August 2011, Mr Watkinson will report to underwriting director Adam Clarke and be responsible for over 100 employees. According to the insurer he has a remit of leading the delivery of its strategic commercial programme through pricing, underwriting and further strengthening broker relationships.

Mr Watkinson has over 36 years of industry experience with previous roles including at Axa Insurance, where he held the position of technical and commercial underwriting
