Solicitor responds to Jack Straw on referral fees

Des Collins, senior partner of Collins Solicitors, has welcomed Jack Straw’s comments on the need to clamp down on claims management companies and ban referral fees.

Commenting on Mr Straw's demands, Mr Collins said: "These two elements are increasingly an unnecessary and insidious part of the insurance world and it is this element of the country's perceived ‘compensation culture' that needs to be addressed."
