Cooper Gay appoints new CEO

Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford has announced the appointment of Shaun Hooper as chief executive officer of Cooper Gay & Co, the group's Lloyd's and London market broker.

Mr Hooper was appointed interim CEO of the company in December 2010 and will take up the permanent appointment with immediate effect.

He joined CGSC in July 2009 as head of group operations and was previously chief operating officer of Bluefin Insurance Services.
