Aspen appoints new head of PI
Aspen Insurance has appointed Ed Beckwith as head of its professional indemnity (PI) unit in the UK.
Mr Beckwith will be based in London and report to Rupert Villers and John Cavoores, co-chief executive officers of Aspen Insurance. He will join Aspen in December.
Mr Beckwith was previously at Allied World Insurance where he was senior vice president, professional lines and a senior member of Allied World Europe management. Prior to his eight years at Allied World, he was part of Syndicate 02's professional and financial risks team and concentrated on crime and professional indemnity for all
