Biba launches PMI scheme for brokers

Private equity investors increasingly attracted to healthcare providers

The British Insurance Brokers Association (Biba) has unveiled a private medical insurance (PMI) proposition for its members wishing to supply the product.

The trade body said it was targeting brokers who did not specialise in the area but wanted to offer the private healthcare as part of a more complete service to their clients.

The MYWellbeing plan is underwritten by Axa PPP and administered and distributed by Jelf Employee Benefits who will provide all advice and compliance issues for their clients.
